Hi there!

My name's Allison Friesen. I am from rural Manitoba (how rural? A tiny village of 60 people), live in Winnipeg with my husband and six-year-old identical twins, and feel right at home in the city and country. Road trips and camping in the mountains out west are some of our favourite things to do. I have earned a couple of degrees and have engaged in a fairly wide variety of work over the years. Now that my children are in Grade 1 (somehow!) I am excited to be heading back to school as a TESL student and look forward to hopefully working with many people in the future while still being able to be there for my family. Canada can be a pretty beautiful, diverse place to call home.
